Welcome to Our Nursery
At our Nursery, we provide a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore. Our dedicated Nursery setting is specially designed to support the developmental needs of children in their early years, offering an exciting, multi-sensory space where curiosity and learning flourish.
A Nurturing Start to Learning
Our Nursery gives children the best possible start in life. The classroom is carefully equipped with a wide range of activities and resources that support early learning through play and exploration. Every day is filled with opportunities to discover, create, and grow.
We believe that young children learn best when they feel happy, confident, and engaged—and our experienced staff work closely with families to ensure each child feels supported and understood from the very beginning.
Our Early Years Curriculum
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework, guided by the ‘Development Matters’ document to shape our curriculum and learning environment.
Our approach combines teacher-led sessions with child-initiated play, fostering creativity, imagination, and a lifelong love of learning.
To see how our Nursery fits into our wider early years provision, view our Nursery Curriculum Overview. You’ll find detailed information about the topics we cover, the types of experiences we offer, and how we support learning across the year.

Learning Indoors and Outdoors
We make full use of both our indoor and outdoor learning environments. Whether it’s building, painting, digging, or role-playing, our children are encouraged to explore and learn through real-world experiences.
We are proud advocates of outdoor learning—come rain or shine, our children enjoy fresh air, movement, and connection with nature, helping to support their physical development and well-being.
Our Goals for Your Child
In the Nursery, we foster the attitudes and behaviours that help children become confident, curious, and resilient learners — not just at school, but for life.
These are the learning dispositions we focus on every day:
