We Are Going Cashless

We will shortly be becoming a cashless school and will no longer be able to accept cash or cheques. You will only be able to pay using the SchoolMoney website by credit /debit card or via PayPoint terminals at a number of local shops in the area (you will need a barcode from us for this). 

From Monday 1st April, Lansbury Lawrence will start its transition, with the nursery initially, to becoming ‘Cashless’. This means that we will no longer be able to accept cash payments for school trips, events, breakfast clubs and lunches. All items will need to be paid for by using a secure website hosted by EduSpot and SchoolMoney  

Some of you may have already set up your SchoolMoney account but if you have not yet activated your account, then please contact the school office either by phone or in person.  

Making a payment is straightforward and SchoolMoney holds a payment history for you to view at a later date; no card details are stored in any part of the system. Once you’ve activated your account you can make online payments straight away. 

Pay with cash using PayPoint 

PayPoint payments are recorded by SchoolMoney and can be seen by logging into your SchoolMoney account and viewing your payment history online. The nearest PayPoint stores to school are the Co-Op and the Post Office on Chrisp Street Market. 

Please notify the school office if you wish to use the PayPoint facility for School Meals. A barcode Voucher will be issued to you to make cash payments for school meals at local PayPoint stores.  

When you Join 

When you join SchoolMoney, please make sure you select the parent login page. You will then be asked to confirm the following; 

Mobile Number – this will be the number to which you receive messages from school. 
Email – notifications and receipts will be send to this email address. 
Password – you will be sent this on the SchoolMoney text message. 
Child’s Name – your child’s first name only. 

Please ensure you keep a record of your login details safe so that you have them for future use/reference. 

Once you are using the system you will only receive requests/reminders for payments from SchoolMoney when you have a live payment on the system.
