For Science this term, year 2 classes have been learning about Living things and their Habitats. This is an incredible unit because they get to work in the Edible Garden in our playground alongside Joe the Gardener. They explored the habitats within our school such as the secret garden, identifying the animals and plants that live there. They also explored micro habitats within our school such as under logs. In class they have been learning about other habitats such as polar, desert and oceanic. Keep asking them questions about their learning at home so they can tell you about it and also consolidate their knowledge.
