Hepoworth class had a really interesting discussion in P4C today about art.
First, we looked at some pictures of ‘Flotsam sculptures’, statues that were made from objects washed up by the sea. We decided that the two ‘big ideas’ the pictures made us think of were art and the environment.
After deciding to discuss ‘art’ we cam up with these questions:
The question we voted for was ‘Can all art have a message?’. Our discussion was really interesting and there was a real mix of opinions.
