Afreen, is one of our Maths Leaders and is a dedicated mathematician. Her enthusiasm for maths has rubbed off on her classmates and we often have large numbers of children wanting to stay in at play times to compete with one another and themselves. We’ve seen a huge increase in quick mental recall of multiplication facts in Year 3 – just take a look at the average speed:
