On our trip we had fun exploring at the Soanes Centre. The Soanes Centre is a type of habitat called a woodland, and the word habitat means an environment that animals and plants call their home. We searched the woodlands for smaller habitats such as under logs, inside old trees, in the pond and beneath the leaves. We found the animals and plants that live there, and the guide told us some of the names.

We were curious because we wanted to learn more about habitats, and we were resilient because we focused even though it was a bit muddy and cold. It was the best day this half-term, and we also got to use the nets at the pond to catch minibeasts. The guide said he will put the creatures in their habitat again after we leave.

Thank you to the teachers for arranging the trip. Thank you to everyone for reading our blog.
