Year 5’s have been lucky to experience the Great Outdoors in Sussex. The wildlife here is phenomenal and its nice to see pupils notice some of it. There’s an abundance of butterflies fluttering around our pupils, some even gleefully landing on pupil’s heads! The gentle buzz of bees and wasps fills the warm summer air, while the chirping of crickets out in the fields has been music to our ears! On today’s trek, the group spotted a green caterpillar which had lost it’s way and ended up staggering across a road. Mr McQuaid kindly picked it up and assisted it back into it’s habitat. He has been capturing images of other wildlife and pupils have enjoyed learning about them or just appreciating their unique colours and beauty! Enjoy it with us!
