The Secret Garden was filled with the sound of hammering again this afternoon as Hokusai Class had their trn at creating Happa Zome leaf prints in Forest School.
First we learnt about the different trees in the Secret Garden including Oak, Field Maple, Hazel, Hawthorn and Pine. Then, we played I – Spy to practise identifying these trees.
After that we created our leaf prints using the leaves from the different trees. We showed great teamwork, working together to keep each other safe by letting our partners know if they where bringing the hammer down too close to their fingers.
