This week, Mrs. Sellens led year 4 in a wonderful exploration of expression through clay.
We were each given a lump of fresh clay, and following Ms. Sellens’ instructions via video call on Teams, both year classes were able to begin moulding and shaping their heads.
Using our wooden tools, we were able to add details to the head including eyes, eyebrows, nose, chin and hair.
We used drops of water to help stick different features on the faces – they ranged from happiness, to curiosity, to horror to anger! We are really proud of our creations… next week we will continue to work on them, stay tuned for updates!
