Delaunay class are buzzing from their trip to the Soane Centre where they attended a workshop on Living things and their Habitats. Pupils used magnifying glasses to observe some mini beasts and plants closely to understand how they are suited to live in their habitat. It was a wonderful, sensory experience that all pupils were able to participate in and thoroughly enjoyed. Some of the habitats pupils looked at were pond, woodland and grassland. In the woods habitat, they spotted birds such as a Parrot and Bluetit that build their nest in the trees to be away from other animals and be protected from predators!
