Dear Parents and Carers

Thank you to all of the families who came in to watch our reception class assemblies and year 6 perform the Lion King this week. It was brilliant to see everyone performing with such confidence. Next Thursday is the year 6 leavers assembly, where we wish them well with their journey on to secondary school… don’t forget to bring your tissues!

Don’t forget next Friday is the last day of the summer term, and we close at 2pm. Nursery closes the day before, on Thursday.

Lichtenstein Class Book-Nic!

Lichtenstein enjoyed a fantastic last reading session with their reading partners from Credit Suisse. All year, students have been spending one lunchtime a week discovering their joy for literature and extending their vocabulary. It has been an undoubted success, with students making great improvements in their literacy skills and saying “I really enjoyed our sessions” and “I will miss my reading partner, but I will continue reading with a passion”. Thank you Credit Suisse for a great year of reading!

Violin and Cello

This week was our last violin and cello lessons for the year, so the children shared their learning achievements with each other. Our violin players performed The Grand Old Duke Of York and our cellists performed On the Prowl. Well done to you all.

Well done to our Learners of the Week!
