This week, our children have been diving into the world of poetry with a variety of fun activities. They explored different poems, recited their favorites, and even created their own. For Poetry Day, we added something special—dancing to poems! It was a fun and lively way for the children to connect with poetry in a new way. Along with that, we’ve also been listening to the different sounds of water and exploring the unique ways water makes sound. It’s been a week full of creativity, movement, and lots of enjoyment!
“Poetry is really fun because you can use silly words and make it rhyme!” Kaiho
“I didn’t know that you can dance to poetry!” Aleeza
“My favourite part of this week was experimenting with water and making different sounds with water! Ms Ferdush even let us listen to the sounds of flushing water!” Ayub
” I going to make up my own poem from now on.” Noora
Below are some of the exciting highlights of our fantastic week!
