Year 3 were fortunate to take part in SportInspired’s day of sports at Poplar Baths today. The organiser’s vision is to connect communities with energy and passion through being active, and our children threw themselves into the activities and competitions with glee.
Children enjoyed learning about nutrition, doing martial arts, playing various sports for the first time, completing relay races and much more:
Congratulations and prizes were given at the end of the event, and the most sought-after trophy of the day was the Team Spirit accolade which was awarded to Lansbury Lawrence! The children received it for displaying teamwork, communication, motivation and resilience throughout the day alongside their sporting prowess. Well done Hepworth and Hokusai!
