Year 3 have launched into Spring with the implementation of Table Facts from our subscribed to programme Number Sense Maths. Children have 36 facts to learn throughout the programme which will lead them nicely to the Year 4 Multiplication Check when they get there in 2025.
The programme is a robust, systematic approach to learning timestables facts which provides a coherent journey through multiplicative reasoning. We are all excited to be part of the programme and children and adults are enjoying making connections to their knowledge of doubling , commutativity and inverse relationships. It is also a great complement to our embedded systems of fluency, Timestable Rockstars and and our weekly inter school competitions.
