Year 4 children have been enjoying taking part in problem solving activities with Ms Bennett in our after school club. This week, children had to reason logically to complete different tasks and compete against one another. The challenges are part of a pan London maths enrichment programme and tournament for primary pupils in Years 4 and 5. The Wondermaths Challenge is designed to challenge and motivate young mathematicians, exciting them with problem-based maths activities and fast paced mental arithmetic tasks. Children will gain confidence in working through maths problems, taking risks and thinking outside the box, to find solutions in challenging activities.
