In Science club today, pupils got to use their stem kits to create an electrical spinning wheel. They placed a paper plate onto their wheel and added drops of paint to create abstract artwork! The spinning wheel was created using a fan, batteries and a dimmer switch that controlled the speed of the fan. You can see pupils adjusting the speed of their spinning wheel to see their final artwork. They really enjoyed this activity and then made links to other methods of creativity that are similar to this such as making pottery using clay and a spinning wheel. Watch this space for some pottery making soon!
