Some year 5 pupils had a lovely time at sewing club today. They got introduced to the sewing machines, learned about the different parts and its function, then had a go at controlling the foot pedal. After this, they felt ready to operate the sewing machines to create a straight stitch! They had alot of fun and are determined to develop their skills so that they can create wonderful designs and become skilled tailors. Watch this space!
