Here are the latest mini scientists that have participated in Science learning at home. Children had a go at 3 experiments that were advertised in our newsletters; The Exploding Balloon Experiment, The Floating Egg Experiment and The Floating Orange Experiment. Arafha from Riley class said “the balloon exploded and it made me scared because I wasn’t expecting that”! Arafha was indeed correct, the balloon exploded when juice from the orange peel touched it because of a chemical called Limonene which is found on the peel of citrus fruits. Try it at home. Send us some pictures of it on homelearning@lansburylawrence.org
