This half-term in Kahlo Class we have been learning about The Docklands. We ended our topic by visiting the Docklands Museum in Canary Wharf. We got to look around the museum and saw objects from Victorian times as well as from World War I and II.we discovered how important the docks were for imports and exports. In the workshop we went to, we explored lots of items from the past and found out what they were used for, and how they linked to the docks. Everyone was shocked when they saw and smelt soap that was over 20 years old!

We have also been learning about gymnastics in PE and creating counter-balances and sequences. The children have created some high quality and exciting routines! It has been a successful start to Year 5!
