At Lansbury Lawrence, children have the opportunity to take part in maths lunch time clubs with a different focus for each day. Year 3 is a very popular Timestable Rockstar club, which is always very well attended. Children really enjoy competing against themselves and their peers – it also spurs them on in our weekly timestable tournaments.
Year 4 and 5 have opportunities to develop their problem solving skills by participating in Wonder Maths challenges and Year 6 can consolidate their prior learning or deepen their knowledge of recently taught concepts.
