Financial Literacy Workshop
Peggy Angus class had a fun and interactive workshop to introduce them to making decisions about spending money. They bartered for items; made decisions on how to spend shells (which represented money); to think about needs versus wants and learnt about building a credit rating.
In the afternoon, they had an opportunity to talk about careers with each of the visiting professionals. They asked interesting questions to understand the career paths followed and what their jobs entailed.
