In Maths we have been learning to master numbers by counting in different ways. This has thoroughly helped us understand the relationship between various numbers, specifically in regards to their tens and ones. Adults at home can count with their children to strengthen their understanding of counting and representing numbers!
In dual counting, we clarify how many tens there are and how many ones. For example, “one ten, 10. one ten one, 11. one ten two, 12…two tens, twenty”.
