For our story we have been reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear written by Eric Carle. Did you know our class is name after the author Eric Carle? We learnt that this week too! We learnt about the characters in the stories and have been having a go at learning new colours of the character and what sounds they make.

We were ‘Exceptional Explorers’ when we looked at a pirates map and was trying to find the hidden treasures in London. We had to use the arrows on the Bee Bots to direct them back to find the treasure.

We have been working on our listening skills on the carpet and playing instruments- we can play them Loudly, Quietly, Slowly and Fast. We were also working on how we stop them and put them on the carpet to show the adult that we are ready!

We have been making Brown Bears using paint and adding eyes, nose and mouths using pens.

We have also been using conkers to trace along a line and match them along a track
