Recently, we baked bread with Ms Sellens. We had a great time learning how to bake it properly. We followed the recipe carefully and used the correct ingredients. We used equipment such as a mixing bowl and a large spoon. After we made the dough, we had to wait for it to rise.
We ate the bread when it was baked. It was fresh from the oven and it tasted scrumptious! We are learning about the Great Fire of London, so we made our own bakery and read the stories we have been writing. Our bakery was a bit like Thomas Farriner’s bakery on Pudding Lane in 1666. Now, we are writing about baking bread to create a recipe. We are using instructions.
