Kahlo class visited The London Docklands Museum today as part of their learning about our community, particularly the Docklands. They learned that the museum was first built as a warehouse for storing goods that the British Empire traded. They got to see how goods were loaded and unloaded, the machinery once used to do this, and a sneak peak into the lives of the people around Docklands at the time. The warehouse is now a museum and the Docklands is now used very differently. It is a place rich with history. Do check it out with your families!
