This half term was particularly busy for Hirst Class. Alongside all our learning, we also took the KS2 SATs and were very proud of ourselves and each other. Here are some of the highlights:
We have continued to work with O’Keeffe Class every Friday afternoon. We read together, share each others work and collaborate. We look forward to this every week and we are building good friendships.Arafah won the Fourth Plinth Prize and was presented her award at City Hall.In Maths we have been following a project. We have made cupcakes, created prices, made packaging and applied measuring skills. We have also considered money and budget and have planned for profit. This half term we learnt about migration with a particular focus on East London and Tower Hamlets. We finished our topic by answering our leading question; What is the rich history of migration in Tower Hamlets?
