The past few weeks in Year 2 have been an absolute joy as the children dove into the world of poetry! They’ve been reading, practicing, and exploring a variety of poems, and their enthusiasm has been contagious. We even had the exciting opportunity to compose our own poem, inspired by Michael Rosen’s Rhythm of Life. The children poured their creativity into it, and the results were fantastic!
To top it all off, on Friday we shared our poem with the entire school during assembly. The children performed brilliantly, and it was such a proud moment for us all.
