I chose to discuss decisions because we make decisions every day – Zakai

All we have to decide
is what to do with the
time given to us.

JRR Tolkien – writer

  • You can make a decision by having a conversation with yourself – Sarah
  • We make decisions in school and at home. I make decisions about what to eat at lunchtime – Zara
  • You have to make decisions if you have a problem in the playground – Dawud
  • You might have to make decisions with other people sometimes, like your friends – Zakai

After talking about the decisions we usually have and what information we might need to consider when we have a choice to make, we thought we’d share some questions for you to think about at home:

* Is it better to make a choice that helps a lot of people, even if it doesn’t help you?

* Is it fair to blame someone for a decision they made if they were forced to make it?

* Do our feelings help us make good choices or bad ones?

Try discussing one of these questions with your family. You can send your thoughts to p4c@lansbury.net
