“The Snow Queen”

The Snow Queen was the fantastic production performed by years 4,5 & 6.The play was written by Year 6 and performed by children from year 5 with each year performing their own song connected with the narrative. The confidence and vocal projection was outstanding … i think we have a few budding actors in our midst!

Our leading characters – Kai played by David and Gerda played by Chelsea. Great confident performances!
All the art work displayed at the back are images created and drawn by the children which added the atmosphere needed for each scene of the play.
The songs in the performance were as follows.
Opening – I believe in kind and goodness ( Based on Greg Lake’s “I believe in father Christmas)
Year 4 – Ring in the season – Olaf’s Adventure
Year 5 – 2000 Miles – The Pretenders
Year 6 – Somewhere only we know – Lilly Allen
Finale – When we’re together – Olaf’s Adventure
Well done to all the staff that worked so hard to produce this production. A special thankyou to Miss Wiley for all her hard work.
And, of course to the children who were the stars of the show.
