During their P4C lessons this week, children in years 3 and 4 shared their thoughts, asked questions and focused on encouraging each other to join in. The questions the students came up were varied and provided great opportunities for discussion:

  • If you notice somebody is different, is it okay to treat them differently?
  • Should you always make your own choices?
  • is it possible to feel alone even when you have lots of friends?

The classes’ responses allowed them to discuss concepts such as choice, jealousy, loneliness and difference while they took themselves from their initial thoughts to deeper questions:
