Our new topic

This term, our topic is Stone Age to Iron Age. Students will learn how society and people’s lives changed through the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. They will consider whether humans survived or thrived during this time in our history.

The children have been waiting patiently for the big reveal.
Many children were ecstatic with their correct guesses from using the clues around the room – books and artefacts
The children entered a time travel machine and we went back thousands of years ago.

It was a very long journey and we had many stops.
“We just finished learning about this, will it stop at the Great Exhibition of Architecture next?” – Uzair
Children felt nostalgic in the year 1666 and many said they felt very hot…I wonder why.
“Hey, that’s the Victorian Era! We learnt that in Y1” -Manha
and finally, we have reached our last destination.
Hafsa enjoyed travelling back in time.
Knowledge organisers have been sent home. They include a summary of the important facts and vocabulary that students need to know. Enjoy discussing your child’s topic with them. Please help them learn the facts and to explore the information throughout this half term.
