We enjoy our music lessons at Lansbury Lawrence, and we are lucky enough to be supported by music workshops lead by Aga Serugo Lugo. He joined year 3 last week to help us build on our knowledge of beat, pulse and rhythm in sessions where the students created their own songs based on the topics they have been learning recently. The children enthusiastically clapped, stomped, clicked and sung as they explored the world of melody and harmonies:
We all agreed that we’ll continue to sing, and to experiment with percussion and melody as the year continues.
