Today we travelled to the British Museum as part of our learning about Islamic Civilisation. For many of us, it was our first time at the museum and on the new Elizabeth Line. Inside the museum, we went straight to the rooms housing Islamic civilisation artefacts and completed a treasure hunt. We also sketched and researched. Before we set off, we spent some time looking at the Ancient Iranian and Egyptian artefacts too, which was really fascinating, especially the Mummies – it reminded us of our Year 5 learning!
