This week in Forest School, Hokusai practised their team work skill with a team building game called ‘Head Honcho’. The group had to copy the actions of a leader without them being caught by the detective. It took a lot of non-verbal communication and attention skills!
After that, we went on a nature scavenger hunt, collecting natural items in the area.
Then we used these items to create journey sticks, we learnt knots to attach the items to the stick and wrapped coloured string around to make them more decorative. The knots were hard but we kept trying and didn’t give up, we also explained our making process to the group
