At the end of last term, Year 1 created flower collages inspired by Eric Carle’s illustrations. They created their own patterned colour sheets through mark-making with paint, and then designed flowers though cutting and sticking. They showed excellent fine-motor control and produced some beautiful work, as you can see in the gallery below.
