Van Gogh class have been busy exploring clay in Art over the past two weeks. In our first week Ms Sellens led our Art lesson through Teams along with Riley Class.

We were giving a lump of clay to work with and following Ms Sellens instructions we were able to roll our clay until we made the shape of our head. After which we pressed, pinched, scored our clay to express the feelings of our figureheads. Can you guess some of the expressions on our clay heads?

Following on from our lesson last week, this week we decided to paint our clay heads using water paint. This allowed us to really show how our clay heads were feeling.

Can you see below what all the different feelings the children are trying to express with their clay heads.

Have you found the crying clay heads and the girl with a bow on her head?
