This week saw the start of the brand new Reading & Football Club in Kahlo Class.
We began our club with an introduction to the fantastic book, The Snow Merchant by Sam Gayton. Reading through the first chapter together, we entered the world of Lettie Peppercorn and the bizarre, chilly guest she welcomes into her inn – what has he got in his mahogany suitcase?!

Before we could discover the answer, it was time to break for football in the playground. The sun was shining and spirits were high – a great end to a day of learning!
