This week, both year 4 classes took an amazing trip to the Tower of London. It was our first ‘proper’ trip since the pandemic started, and we were all so excited to be able to travel to our local area of interest.
We have been learning all about the Tower this half-term: we read Shakespeare’s ‘Richard III’ and learned all about the Tower’s significance during history lessons. In our whole class reading lessons, we have been reading a very interesting non-fiction book which is stuffed full of fascinating facts & tales about the Tower.
The children absolutely loved exploring the Tower and all the parts inside it. We even got to see the Crown Jewels!
