Both Hokusai Class and Hepworth Class have begun learning about fractions!
Year 3’s new focus in mathematics is learning about different types of fractions and understanding what this looks like in pictures. This morning we completed 5 different fractions activities aimed at remembering our fractions knowledge from Year 2 and bringing it into Year 3.
We got to compare fractions with other fractions, matching pairs, creating a fraction wall and colouring in the right fractions! Year 3 can’t wait to learn more about fractions and how we use them in our everyday lives!
