Year 3 set off to the Natural History Museum on Wednesday 27th November 2024. It was a long trip to get there, but it was well worth it!

Getting ready to go!
Waiting at Bow Road.
Walking through the long, long tunnel from South Kensington Station to the museum.

Once we arrived, we were amazed by the newly renovated gardens. The students of Hokusai were so very curious and asked many questions about the fossils displayed and the huge Diplodocus that was the garden’s star attraction.

You can see Fern the Diplodocus’ body in the background.

Whilst inside, the wondering never stopped! We couldn’t tear our eyes off the amazing exhibits. We only had so much time, so we tried to see as much as possible. Finally, we got to what we were searching for the most: the Sabre-Toothed cat! Apex predator of the stone age!

A Christmas dinosaur! Unfortunately, no, it wasn’t a real T-Rex…
The Sabre-Toothed cat!

Finally, we made our way back to school, ready to rest and reflect on what we learnt, saw and experienced that day. Well done, Hokusai!
