This term we have been reading the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ we have been exploring the different environments thinking about all the different elements that the characters from the story go through for example the long wavy grass and the swirly snowstorm.
We also spoke about living in cave or a tent like the bear- we spoke about it being too cold and dark outside. So we used the torches to help us see inside the dark tent but we decided that the tent is not big enough for us to fit because we can only fit 2 friends inside. We also had a go at making some shady puppets with our fingers in the tent.
We also have been working on our fine motor skills- we used a hammer to tap the nail inside the shapes and made some pictures, some of us made some rockets! We spoke about the different shapes and the colours.
