by Ms Sheikh and Class
We enjoyed our learning in both Autumn One and Autumn Two. The children have done so much and made many connections between what they already knew and the interesting, new information they were learning.
Scarlett: Going to the fire-station with my class was the most fun.
Amirah: This term we have been learning about the Great Fire of London and how it started. We visited the Monument and we even climbed the 311 steps. We loved it and had so much fun.
Muhammad: Did you know in September, we started our kindness tower? If we did an act of kindness, we could add a cube to our tower. We have also been learning about a book called The Last Stop on Market Street.
Fatima: This term we have been learning to count in different numbers. We started by counting in twos.
Simon: We did estimating in Maths Week England. I got the closest by estimating there were 222 cubes in the jar.
Nahiya: It was interesting learning about the Great Fire of London in our second half-term. We learned about where it started, how it spread so easily and what the consequences were. Consequences happen after an event.
Adam: The whole of year two joined year five to do a Christmas performance. We did really well, and all our families joined us to watch in the hall. We loved singing and making everybody smile.
Enjoy the holiday season.
