The Caterpillars Came To Carle Class!

We have been learning the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We were very excited this week to welcome some caterpillars into our classroom. We held the caterpillars in their pot carefully and talked about what we noticed. We talked about the life cycle of a butterfly.

Reema: They spin a cocoon and turn into a butterfly. Sarah: Wow, caterpillar.
Jahiem: The caterpillar is big and can be a butterfly.
Younes: They eat food then they get fat and turn into a butterfly.
Taalia: It caterpillars. They moves their head.
Simon: It has tiny toes.
Ameer: It would be a big big butterfly
Zayd: It’s be a butterfly.
Yaqub: Look caterpillar.
Kamil: It’s gonna get fat.
Meraj: The caterpillar is nice.
Avni: It was spikey.
Ariana: They wiggle.
Ayaan: The caterpillar will be big and fat and will be a blue butterfly.
Kairaa: The caterpillar is moving.
Zaid: A squirrel can eat a caterpillar.
Shayla: They are spikey.
Aliza: The caterpillar eat lollypop and turn into a butterfly.
Amirah: They eat food then turn into a cocoon and then they become butterflies.
Aryan: They walk around.
Esmae: They go round and eat food. Make cocoon and turn into a butterfly.
Affan: Caterpillars.
Abdul Hannan: I love caterpillars.
Afif: Caterpillar make fat.
Saudah: Caterpillar turn a butterfly.
Aleeza: First caterpillar then they eat and then they spin into a cocoon and then butterfly.
