Last week Shireen Class were learning all about the community we live in. So we visited Chrisp Street Market and the surrounding area.
Our first stop on the tour of the community was the café. We talked about if we had to been to a café before and what happens inside. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to stop for a nice cup of tea.
We bought snack in the market to take back to the rest of the children.
We visited the ideas store, where we even got invited to come back for a story time!
We also visited the butchers, the fishmongers and the bakery. On the way around we also pointed out places we knew such as the swimming baths, the clocktower, Iceland and of course Greggs.
We all really enjoyed getting out of the classroom and into the community. Thank you to all our parent helpers who came and made our trip possible.
