This week in Forest School, we were so lucky with the weather! It was a beautiful afternoon and we were exploring with our senses. First we went on a sensory walk to see what we could hear, smell, see and feel – there were lots of crunching leaves, smooth bark and rough, wet mulch!

Then, we used some of the items we found and practised the knots we have learnt over the past couple of weeks to create journey sticks or magic wands, by tying beautiful leaves and other natural items to our sticks. Some of us also worked on our knots and lashing by continuing with our God’s Eyes that we started last week.
