Queen Anait – A Tale From Armenia

This week Year 1 had a visit from a story teller called Becky. She told the story of ‘Queen Anait’ which is a brilliant tale from Armenia! Children shared lot’s of smiles and laughter as they immersed themselves using fun props. We hope you will take a look at our snapshots from the day!

Queen Anait is an amazing female folktale character. She is clever, wise, and brave (and also beautiful, but this is not highlighted in the tale, even at first sight the prince is more impressed by her intelligence). We also find out she is a talented weaver, and is teaching all the people in the village how to read and write.
