Our new topic this half term is the acclaimed children’s story The Iron Man – a science fiction novel by British Poet Laureate Ted Hughes. We are asking ourselves what is the moral of the story and using the tale as we learn about forces and magnets in science.
Our knowledge organiser is a summary of the key facts and essential knowledge that pupils need to know. It will be used in class as a base on which to build new learning, and children have taken a copy home so the family has the opportunity to enjoy discussing the topic, helping their child to learn the facts and to explore the information throughout this half term.
