Today we celebrated “Make Music Day” or “World Music Day” which is a celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries. We had performances from Riley Class and Lichtenstein Class and finished with the whole school singing songs we all know including our School Anthem. Click link to watch Lichtenstein Class (5B) sing a song they composed called “Poplar” which is about our local area and community .
