Hadid Class learnt a new drawing method today, normally reserved for secondary school pupils. At Lansbury Lawrence, we like to challenge ourselves! We learnt about the grid method technique, where you can copy an image using a framework of squares to guide you.
We drew Zaha Hadid, as our class is named after this inspirational architect. We used different grades of sketching pencils to introduce tone. Most of all, we demonstrated resilience and stamina, and everyone produced a drawing they should be proud of. It was interesting how everyone developed their own style through the activity, using their knowledge of drawing to produce something unique. Well done, Hadid Class!
