We’ve had a fantastic half term learning all about Romans in Britain. We created mosaics, designed and made Roman purses, explored the plants in our garden and found out that many of them where species brought over by the Romans!
We found out about fearsome Queen Boudica and her rebellion and really enjoyed reading The Queen of Darkness, a tale of a young girl who is taken under Boudica’s wing and finds out Boudica is not all she seems…
We have also been covering fractions and were really proud of the Fractions walls we made.
One of the biggest hit of the term was getting to take part in some Forest School activities, we worked in teams to build natural shelters using materials from the Secret Garden.
